Account Verification
Whenever money moves, your identity gets checked first. That shields your account, blocks under-age play and keeps dirty money out of our games.
Understanding why we verify
Where local law permits, players are welcome, and we follow Canadian rules on age, identity checks and anti-money laundering. Account verification is how we meet those rules. It guards you too, since a confirmed account is much harder for someone else to hijack.
Checks happen before your first deposit, alongside a location check that confirms you are playing from an area where we accept players.
Explaining where your money comes from
For larger or unusual deposits we may want to know the origin of the funds. This is routine, not an accusation.
- Recent pay slips or an employment letter.
- Bank statements that show the funds arriving.
- Paperwork for a sale, inheritance or similar event.
Play may pause while we look at what you send.
Confirming identity and age
We ask for the following to confirm your identity and that you are aged 19 or older:
- Photo identification: an unexpired driver's licence or a passport, sharp, full colour, with every edge in view.
- Address: a statement from your bank or a utility bill, dated recently, showing your name and the same address as your account.
- Payment ownership: snap a photo of your card, masking the middle numbers, or grab a screenshot of the e-wallet or bank account behind your payments.
Names and details must match across your account and documents. We may also confirm details through trusted electronic checks.
Watching activity over time
Our checks continue after registration. We monitor deposits, withdrawals and patterns of play, and look more closely when anything appears unusual.
- Deposits that do not fit your usual pattern.
- Money cycled through with little play.
- Multiple accounts that lead back to a single player, a shared device or a shared payment method.
- Withdrawals sent to a method you never used to deposit.
Screening for sanctions and public office roles
Every player is checked against official sanctions lists. We also look at whether a player currently has, or has lately had, a senior role in public life, or is a family member or known associate of such a person.
- A sanctions match means the account is blocked.
- A public office link means extra checks and senior approval before the account carries on.
Handling failed checks
When documents are missing, blurry or don't match, here is what happens:
- All deposits, gameplay and withdrawals on the account are frozen.
- We email you to say exactly what is still needed.
- Where verification is still not possible, we close the account.
- Winnings tied to false details or fraud are void.
Keeping records and meeting reporting duties
Transaction records and ID documents stay locked in secure storage for as long as Canadian law sets. When the law calls for it, we pass details of suspicious activity on to the appropriate Canadian authorities, and the law bars us from letting the player know a report was filed. See our Your Privacy page for how this information is protected.
